Audition Information
About FACE is holding auditions on Sunday 1st February 2026 in the Performing Arts Theatre at North Albany Senior High School.
You will audition in a group with approximately six other people. The audition is about as laid back as we can make it. You don’t even need to prepare a song to sing.
At the audition, we will start with some vocal warm-ups to determine your vocal range and which part your voice is suited to. By the time we’ve done this, we’ll have a pretty good idea of how you sing. We are looking for potential, not highly trained voices.
Everyone leaves smiling, having had a good time.

Please note that the form asks for contact details for two referees. We know Mum loves you, and would give you a really good reference, but you can’t list Mum as a referee.

If you are aged between 14 - 35 and want to explore singing, we would love to hear from you!
We rehearse on Tuesday evenings between 6.00 and 8.00 pm at North Albany SHS Performing Arts Theatre. Our rehearsals are fast-paced and we cram a lot into our two hours. We work hard but have a lot of laughs together. And of course, we all look forward to our annual choir camp.
Membership fees
Of course, nothing in this life is for free.
We all get hit with a $440.00 membership fee each year. This covers the cost of all our music, access to rehearsal tracks, tuition, copyright licences and insurance (because some of our songs are pretty dangerous).
